DICE has announced the system requirements for the PC version of Battlefield 4. The game can run on any OS since Windows Vista, but Windows 8 64-bit is recommended, thanks to the new graphic tools that have been included with Direct X 11.1.
This comes as no surprise, as DICE stated that DX 11.1 features ”some optimizations” that the game can utilise so it tangibly ”improves CPU performance.” The game will also require a 30GB install.

* OS: Windows Vista SP2 32-bit
-
CPU: AMD Athlon X2 2.8GHz or Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz
-
RAM: 4GB
-
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 3870 or Nvidia Geforce 8800GT with 512MB of memory
-
HDD: 30GB
Recommended:
