At first glance the recently revealed Dragon Age: Inquisition multiplayer mode looks a hell of a lot like the one found in Mass Effect 3 - lots of enemies to blast, little bit of character customisation and a bunch of classes to choose from.
Speaking to Destructoid though, a BioWare representative claimed that the developers would be supporting the online mode ”far beyond” the point where they signed off on their sci-fi franchise.
The unnamed source said Bioware would ”support (Dragon Age: Inquisition’s) multiplayer far beyond Mass Effect 3,” and added that ”they have a lot of content planned for Dragon Age for months on end.” That’s good news, though to be honest I thought ME3’s multiplayer mode received a very respectable stream of new content, even if it did wear out its welcome a little too quickly.
Supply crates are now Chests, filled with high fantasy weapons and goodies rather than assault rifles and grenades. You’ll unlock these by earning experience in-game, much as you did in ME3. Apparently Bioware will add new levels, classes and more as free DLC over time.
Interesting. Honestly I’m not too fussed about multiplayer in Inquisition, but it could end up being a nice little bonus. The game hits PC and consoles this November. Are you looking forward to beating up demons with friends?
