Last week, Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma mysteriously vanished from Steam, PlayStation Store and Xbox Marketplace. Usually this is because of legal issues with the licensing, but not in this case. According to publisher Versus Evil, it's because, well, the game sucked.

Volume One of anime action game Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma will drop on September 22, developer Redacted Studios has revealed. This time it's not the titular, Samuel L. Jackson-voiced character that's the main protagonist, but his childhood friend Kuma, who likes to wear a teddy bear's head for a hat. Fair enough.

Redacted Studios announced Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma earlier this year, a sequel to its 2009 hack and slasher based on Takashi Okazaki's cult manga. Now the developer has released a pre-E32015 cinematic trailer with no gameplay, but with a few details regarding the game's main plot.
