Indie dev Tomorrow Corporation announces Little Inferno

New indie developer Tomorrow Corporation, made up of World of Goo's Kyle Gabler and Allan Blomquist, and Henry Hatsworth's Kyle Gray, have announced their first title, Little Inferno.

World of Goo creator Ron Carmel argued that Xbox Live Arcade has reached its peak, but analysts aren't in agreement although "some of his points are valid".

Not every title is the "right fit for every service," notes EEDAR's Jesse Divnich. They're "seeing some fracturing" among devs as other services continue to rise.

Indie developer 2D Boy amid their World of Goo for iPad announcement has said a sequel to the critically praised puzzler could very well happen.

Porting the original to iPad reminded them "how fun it was to make", but a second game would need to be an "appropriate continuation" of the first.

World of Goo's 2D Boy reckons major development studios should embrace the indie way of life more, to achieve "talent density" and the "risk-taking."

Doing this shouldn't "present a problem" as budgets need only be $1/2 million for a team of 10 or so. Current thinking has us "stuck" as an industry.
