Following the release of Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred and Season 13, Blizzard is already hard at work on Season 14, the first seasonal content drop after the action RPG’s second expansion.
Lord of Hatred arrived on April 28 and, for the most part, is a fantastic evolution of Diablo 4, making it the best it’s ever been. However, the new War Plans system for the new endgame grind and other progression layers are facing criticism from veterans. Here we’ve collected everything we know about Diablo 4 Season 14 so far.
Diablo 4 Season 14 Start & End Dates
At the time of writing, we don’t exactly know when Diablo 4 Season 14 will kick off, but we can make an informed guess based on the information we currently have.
Season 12 ended on April 28, with Season 13 and the Lord of Hatred expansion instantly replacing it. At the time of writing, Season 13’s in-game countdown says it’ll end around June 30, so normally, that would confirm Season 14’s release date, but the truth is we won’t know for sure until Blizzard nails down its final plans. Its length is also up in the air, as both Season 12 & 13 have been odd ones.
Its accompanying Patch 3.1 had its PTR run between June 2 and June 9.
- Diablo 4 Season 14 start date: around June 30, 2026
- Diablo 4 Season 14 end date: TBA
Diablo 4 Season 14 Content, Rewards & Events
Previously, Blizzard noted it is actively working on better co-op functionalities for the War Plans loop in Season 14 after heated player feedback about its lack of synchronisation for parties and other missing features.
With the reveal of Patch 3.1’s PTR, we also got a look at the content coming in Diablo 4’s Season 14. Kicking things off, Pandemonium Ruptures spawn across the world. Opened by killing their guardians, they unleash deadly monsters belonging to the new Risen family. The longer we manage to keep them open, the better the rewards they offer.
Completing Ruptures can spawn a Realmwalker, a hulking foe that was also present during past seasons. When defeated, it opens a portal to the Deathtoll Chamber, which is “a one-room mini-dungeon” that offers a Rupture-themed activity.
In addition, it is also the best source for obtaining Betrayer’s Husks required to open the seasonal Lair Boss’s Hoard found on the Torment I difficulty and higher, letting us face off against a dangerous corrupted reaper.
Diablo 4’s Season 14 also allows every Unique item to become Mythic. Rather than a rarity, Mythic is now a modifiable item quality. Unique items can drop as Mythic variants or be upgraded to said status using the Horadric Cube, paving the way for obtaining even more character power during endgame.
The Tower and leaderboards are finally leaving beta while also receiving cosmetic rewards. War Plans can be synced with our whole party, leading to better co-op functionality for the ARPG’s core endgame feature.
Lastly, Diablo 4’s Season 14 also introduces solo self-found mode as an option for seasonal play.
That covers what we know so far about Diablo 4 Season 14’s start and end dates, content, and rewards.
