In The Witcher 2 your crafted potions lasted a good ten minutes or so, but in the third game they tend to hover around the thirty second mark unless you pump all your skills into alchemy. This tweak increases their duration to Witcher 2 levels, which will be construed as cheating by all the other witchers in the game, who will silently judge you.
