An upcoming show was announced by the web-based entertainment network Crackle.com to feature a trailer of 3D Realms alusive Duke Nukem Forever.
The Jace Hall Show's premiere was given an exclusive "something" but George Broussard of 3D Realms has said this is "not quite going to be what you expect."
The show is rumoured to debut this June 4 but there won't be anything substantial to the Duke Nukem material as Broussard explained himself on the company’s official forums:
"I have no knowledge of any new trailer. I'd tell you if I did.
This is something we did for Jason months ago and it's not quite going to be what you expect. We didn't want him unveiling the game at that point so the piece was done as a favor for Jason, who we've known for 15 years.
I just don't want people getting too excited over this. The teaser trailer in Dec was about all the teasing we'd planned on. We weren't sure when, or if, this show would ever appear. I look forward to seeing what Jason did with the show. I can promise you that the next time you see the game it'll be in substantial form."
Duke Nukem Forever is the very long-awaited next instalment to the wise-cracking and alien slaying Duke Nukem franchise. To think we may actually get to play it within our lifetime.
