An all new action game is coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 called ‘Inversion’, a gravity-defying videogame from Timeshift developer Saber Interactive. It’s a sci-fi alien invader romp.
Set in the near future, it’s a co-op game featuring gravity manipulation ”most people didn’t think possible” on current consoles; it’s due out next year. It’s a ”complete thrill” for Saber.
It’s an action co-op game set between two characters, one being a 28 year-old cop named Davis Russel and the other some neighbour called Leo Delgado, looking for Davis’ child.
An unknown enemy, the Lutadore, shows up and screws around with our world’s gravity in places. So enters the ‘The Grappler’, a gun that allows players to manipulate gravity to their own ends for tactical advantage or even puzzle solving.
”Working with Namco Bandai Games on a project of this calibre is a complete thrill,” said Matthew Karch, CEO of Saber Interactive. ”We are doing things in Inversion that most people didn’t think possible on the current generation of consoles. We can’t wait to get Inversion in the hands of gamers across the world.” Inversion releases on Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2010.
