This could well expand beyond into the Asia Pacific region, if things go well. The 3D LED sets from LG bundle with 3D 360 games this June?
”If we’re reading this correctly then it appears set to begin by bundling Xbox 360 3D games with LG 55/47LX9500 LED televisions sometime at the end of June,” reports Engadget. That would mean Microsoft taking the same route as Sony for 3D - firmware.
There’s been no mention of Xbox 360 fully supporting 3D games just yet, unlike how Sony is pushing it with the PlayStation 3. It’s likely the corporate giant wants to see how the South Korean consumer eats up the 3D tech with its games.
They could just announce something at E3 though, which would likely tie in well with Project Natal’s latest public appearance. Surely a marriage of motion control and 3D videogames would be perfect? The platform holders sure hope so.
Microsoft’s E3 press event is June 14th at 6pm BST.
