The team is ”working hard on it” but they haven’t reached a point they feel it’s ready for public demonstration. Will only show it when it will ”blow you away”.
”The guys are working hard on it but we’re not quite at the point where we’re ready to give a demonstration on it at this point,” Hollenshead said during the intro to fellow id man John Carmack’s keynote speech.
The public doors will only swing open on Doom 4 when it can ”absolutely blow you away”, and not before that. Many believed Carmack’s teasing twitter was hinting toward a Doom-related showcase but that was a pipe dream.
