Square Enix has already suggested that there will be day one downloadable content for their open world action title Sleeping Dogs, but today the publisher revealed at GDC Europe that it has six months worth of downloadable content lined up for the game.
Square Enix first revealed the launch downloadable content, which will include the 80s-inspired Retro Triad Pack that features an old school outfit with its own player buffs and a funky kung-fu van. In September, DLC will include a high-speed Racing Pack and a SWAT Pack.
According to Square Enix London general manager Lee Singleton, “Sleeping Dogs is a game we know fans will want to keep on playing, so over the next six months we’ll be creating a series of new content packs giving players everything they need to keep enjoying the game. We want to create something to suit everyone’s play style from cool cars and high-speed missions to outlandish outfits and game-extending mission packs. The game launch is just the beginning.”
Sleeping Dogs is due to be released this week on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
