Gaming forum NeoGAF has spotted a pair of job openings on Microsoft’s official site that seems to indicate that the company is starting two Kinect development studios.
The first is for a project named LEAP that is looking for developers who have ”experience with Kinect or other motion control technologies,” and declares ”We’re the people that developed Kinect and profoundly changed the way people interact with technology. Now our incubation team is ready to change the world again, but we need your help!”
The other classified states it is looking for an HR manager for an outfit named Platform Next Studios, which claims to be “pioneering experiences on Kinect”. “Platform Next” sounds suspiciously like the next generation of Xbox console; one of the possible names for the Xbox 360 successor has been the “Xbox Next”.
Both projects are based just outside Redmond, WA, which is where Microsoft is located.
