It’s a ”very near and dear” IP to Raymond, as she reveals her studio is also working on ”one other big franchise” they’re not spilling beans on yet. Ubisoft Toronto has just wrapped up on Splinter Cell.
This new Assassin’s Creed will be releasing after the recently announced Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. A total of eight Ubisoft studios are working together on Black Flag.
”As we’re wrapping up Splinter Cell, we’re also looking to expand, so we’re going to be working on five different projects,” Jade Raymond told IGN. ”One of the franchises that’s very near and dear to me, Assassin’s Creed, is one of the ones we’re going to be collaborating on in Toronto, as well as one other big franchise which we’re not going to announce yet.”
She also said they’ll be involved in ”two other big collaborations” with Montreal, the main team behind Black Flag.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC August 20th in the US, 23rd in EU.
