Creative Assembly’s survival horror Alien: Isolation sounds like the perfect title for a virtual reality headset, so it’s not too surprising that a recent Oculus demo for the game generated a lot of buzz.
Sadly the developers have posted on the game’s official Twitter page to clarify that the version shown was a prototype, and that ”there’s no full game” in development for the Oculus.
@xopsx @VRBrighton @TheMightyGit @Pipsissiwa What we've got at the moment with @oculus is a prototype, there's no full game in dev :)

Don’t get too upset, though. Oculus games will be ten-a-bloody-penny once the headset’s ready to launch, and if Creative Assembly and publishers Sega don’t recognize the swathes of cash a VR Alien game would make, then frankly they’re in the wrong business.
I’m not saying it will definitely happen of course, but it will definitely happen at some point.
Alien: Isolation is out this October 7 for PC and consoles. Oculus second-wave development kits will be shipped out to developers shortly.
