Dragon Age: Inquisition drops this week, and this Youtube video from graphics comparison channel Candyland offers a chance to check out the variation between low and ultra settings on the PC version.
Ultimately, not a catastrophic drop in quality. Obviously you’ll want to take advantage of all that neat dynamic lighting and anti-aliasing if possible, but those with more modest PCs shouldn’t feel too left out.
You’ll obviously want to whack up the resolution to make the most of this video. Bioware has already revealed the necessary specs, and this is pretty much what we expected. It’s not a graphical powerhouse, but Inquisition makes good use of a solid engine and some neat art design. Apart from the jagged edges, playing on low settings seems like a perfectly reasonable proportion.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is out today in North America for PC and consoles, while European customers will have to wait until November 20. It’s been a rather impressive reception so far.
