Capcom has revealed that the release date for the first episode of upcoming survival horror Resident Evil: Revelations 2 has been pushed back a week. It will now arrive on Steam on February 25. Subsequent episodes won’t be affected by the delay.
In addition to that news, Capcom has also kindly furnished us with videos starring some of the hideous abominations we’ll have to fend off. One of them looks a bit like an undead tapir.
” In an effort to fine-tune the final product,” Capcom writes, “we’ve moved the release of the first episode back just one week to February 24.” As delays go, that’s not a particularly devastating one. Subsequent episodes will arrive on March 5, 11 and 18.
“Remember that each episode contains a Claire/Moira scenario, a Barry/Natalia scenario AND Raid Mode content based on that Episode. More info on Raid Mode coming (quite!) soon.”
Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will be available in a full Season Pass for $24.99, but you can also grab each episode individually for $5.99. It stars series regular Claire Redfield and newcomer Moira Burton, daughter of fan favourite character Barry Burton. Who’ll be making an appearance himself, incidentally.
