I have a confession to make; I am hooked on Rocket League. Psyonix’ ferociously addictive car-football game isn’t without its bugs, though, and the developer is planning to release a patch shortly that will iron some of them out.
Patch 1.03 will include a number of fixes for the Steam version of the game, from crashed to lag and “rubber-banding”. Psyonix also plans to add new servers in the future, to improve performance across all regions.
You can find the full list of planned patch features here. Sadly, Rocket League’s not free on the PC like it is on the PS4 right now, but it’s certainly worth a look at £15. Once you net your first rocket jump backheel goal, you’ll never look back.
Psyonix will also release the game’s first free map, Ultima Colosseum, shortly, according to a tweet from the game’s account. It’s coming out in coming out in ”a few weeks”, and you can check out the first released image below.
