Noticing less aimbots in Overwatch lately? That's likely due to the ceremonial swinging of the banhammer. While it would have been a nice christmas treat for all those involved, Blizzard let the winter chill settle in before coming down hard on users of tools like 'Overjoint'.
Of course, much like the last banwave, those caught under the might of Blizzard's judge, jury and executioner are upset over the ordeal. Why they can't just understand the error of their ways will never be known, but when they're paying good money for a supposed 'undetectable' hack and losing their Overwatch account for the privilege, they're either salty over the lost money or for being ripped off.
It isn't clear where would-be cheaters congregate to discuss their dark and devious plans, but Battle.net forum user Starcatraz is doing the good work frequenting the boards to track down, absorb some salty tears and unearth the cheater's complains for satisfied, genuine players to get a kick out of. So what are they saying? Things like;
Ever ran into error code BC-105 in Overwatch? There's likely a good explanation for it.
“I’m so ****ing pissed I literally run the hack 1 time which was yesterday and I get banned on my only Overwatch account I just bought and now the sale is over." And the classic line of “I’m going to sue Blizzard, who wants to join me?”.
Good luck with that one, buddy. Real strong case you'll have there. You just like to burn cash, don't you?
