That new Hitman game is really good. It’s wide-open, varied, and filled with so many ways to accomplish your objectives. It’s also got an incredibly dry sense of murderous humor. Remember when we killed Gary Busey? Good times. Now they’re promoting the next episode with a new music video.
Titled “Are We Stars,” the song is performed by a fictional band called the Class. Not only does the video make an eerily good recreation of 80s music cinematography, it also gives us a glimpse at the next episode’s Thailand setting. Between all the mirrored imagery and overexposed film, I think it looks good?

Of course, I have to assume that the new episode will feature the murder of an entire aging rock band, and that’s a fun setup for a Hitman target. I think my favorite part about all this is the fake band’s real Twitter account, which is currently following the Killers, Nirvana, Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, and Jimi Hendrix. That’s some kind of taste, man.
I’ve also heard that some journalists are receiving vinyl EPs of the band’s songs, but none have showed up on my doorstep. The Thailand episode should be out this month.
