E3 is upon us! The Electronic Entertainment Expo has infiltrated the Los Angeles Convention Center, filling its halls with the latest and greatest games all the big publishers want you to know about. GameWatcher will be on hand to report the biggest news and give you hands-on coverage of the show’s top games. The show floor doesn’t officially open until Tuesday, but most of the big news will be revealed through the press conferences scheduled for Sunday and Monday.
First up is EA, who will be showing several major new titles. What should we expect? We’ll certainly see details on Mass Effect: Andromeda and some more information on Battlefield 1. Thanks to an unfortunate leak earlier today, we already know about Titanfall 2’s full reveal. Expect details on upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront DLC, and don’t be surprised if a Battlefront 2 is teased. There’s a small chance that we may hear something on the new Star Wars title from Visceral Games and Uncharted writer Amy Hennig, but it’s unlikely this will be any more than a teaser.
We’re expecting to hear about a new Need for Speed title, and you can expect some details on their sports titles including FIFA 17. They’ll also be excited to show off their mobile and casual lineups, though hopefully we won’t see a man in foam zombie suit this year. EA may also elect to discuss their subscription plans, EA Access on Xbox One and Origin Access on PC, and may take advantage of the coverage to add some titles to those catalogues.
Assuming the remainder of the conference doesn’t leak ahead of time, you can see the full briefing through the embedded stream below starting at at 1PM Pacific, 9PM BST.
