There's been plenty of speculation on when Ubisoft was going to pull the trigger, no pun intended, on the closed multiplayer Beta for their MMO-shooter The Division, but nothing was made concrete until today. We now have confirmation that the Beta will indeed be available at some point before January ends.
The confirmation was discovered by WCCFTech.com who discovered official month for the Beta had been put out on the Uplay mobile app page for The Division. Besides sharing a month, the app also lists a reward for participating in the Beta, which appears across Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It would seem the Beta is going to be available on all three systems at the same time.
News has been cloudy at best on actual and official information about The Division's Beta testing ever since it was delayed back in December. There were hints that the Beta might be taking place on January 29 and this latest update seems to suggest it might be true.
Stay tuned, with January confirmed, an actual official date from Ubisoft can't be far behind.
