With a December release now set in stone, details about Chris' return to form in Resident Evil 7's next DLC offering are beginning to trickle out.
While we're expecting to see a real gameplay reveal come out of this week's Tokyo Game Show, Capcom seems to be easing us in with three new screenshots; one of which re-introduces the beloved curb stomp.
The first image, rightfully stamped at the top of this page, shows Chris' boot popping the head of a defeated Molded. With his powerful punch tactics of Resident Evil 5 already confirmed to make a return, we can hope this brutal punishment will befall any Molded that dares go up again the enforcer's iron fist.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Director, Yasuhiro Anpo, Is Working On An Unannounced Project
The second image seems to show our protagonist wandering through the very same cave network that lead up to the closing moments of the game's main story. We already know he's chasing down whatever remains of Lucas Barker, but just how much backtracking can we do considering the state we left the Baker house in as Chris made his heroic entrance? The third shares a similar feel, showing a first-person perspective of an excavated staircase. This one looks like it's designed to show off the tactical UI Chris is totting for his little adventure.
Despite most classic Resident Evil fans enjoying the Resident Evil 7's semi-classic formula, it seems Capcom really wants to please those who bought into the series later on for its more action-oriented evolution. You can't win them both, but Capcom certainly want to try.
