Ubisoft announces another free weekend for Anno 1800. Industrial Age city builder Anno 1800 is hosting a free weekend to celebrate the launch of its third season of post-launch content. Preloading is now live on both Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store, so if you've yet to try out the game, you can do so starting tomorrow - February 25.
Anno 1800's free weekend concludes on March 1 and all progress made during it gets carried over should you decide to purchase the game at a later stage.
New players get access to the entirety of the base game, which was excellent back at launch and was improved in subsequent updates. If you happen to have a friend to introduce you to how things work, you can also hop into multiplayer games with existing owners.
Anno 1800's free weekend concludes on March 1. The base game and select DLC is also available for a cheaper price until March 3 on the Ubisoft Store.
Season 3 is set to bring more DLC to city builder in 2021. The first one, Docklands, is now live and introduces a modular warehouse district alongside other improvements.
