What is Legend Bonus in Apex Legends?</h2>
With the release of Apex Legends Season 1, came the game's very first iteration of a Battle Pass feature. As we all know by now, players need to rank up their Battle Pass through the Season in order to get the best rewards, and some of the new features, including Legend Bonus, provide ways for you to truly maximise your XP earning.
Legend Bonus XP is awarded on a weekly basis, and you can get up to 25 000 extra XP for each of the game's numerous characters if you actually use them in matches. It works by awarding you twice the usual amount of XP up until you reach 25k bonus, after which you will only be getting the normal XP gain until you switch characters or the Legend Bonus resets.
As an added bonus, every day you can get 500 extra XP for the first kill you get with each character. This further underlines Respawn's attempts in getting you to switch characters around as much as humanly possible. Since they're all great - why not? Here's a guide on how to get this Season's newcomer: Octane.
