Crusader Kings 3’s update 1.8.1 is now available for all players, a look at its patch notes revealing a handful of fixes for issues with religion, tooltips, and more.
Update 1.8.1 cleans up things following CK3’s latest major patch, also stopping achievements from being disabled when going back from the pick any character screen.
Crusader Kings 3 Update 1.8.1
Players should also no longer have the chance of finding themselves forced to adopt a heresy whenever any religion spawns one, while the tooltip unlock setting should now be properly applied, no longer resulting in tooltpis showing for longer periods of time when they really shouldn’t.
Here are all the changes introduced in Crusader Kings 3’s update 1.8.1, as detailed in the full patch notes over on the forums:
- Fixed an issue where tooltips were not affected by the tooltip unlock setting, leading to tooltips staying open for a prolonged period of time
- Achievements will no longer become disabled when going back from the pick any character screen
- Height maps should now be rendered as expected when generated (affected mod creation)
- Fixed an issue where any religion spawning a heresy could force the player to adopt that heresy, regardless of player religion
- Added missing localization for the Renderer settings tooltip
- The Truth is Relative perk no longer lowers the chance of finding real secrets significantly (except if the Spymaster has the Lazy trait...)
- Fixed incorrect localization for the “Become rivals with a rival’s family member” memory
