Fallout 76 has a varied arsenal of weapons to help with surviving Appalachia. Some, like the Night Light, are more special and a bit trickier to obtain.
Here’s everything we know about how to get the Night Light weapon in Fallout 76.

If you plan on growing your weapon collection with one Night Light, you’ll have to jump into Fallout 76’s Survival mode and complete the associated weekly challenge.
Four different objectives stand between you and your Night Light. The first two can be done in one go, requiring you to kill a firefly and kill an enemy with an energy weapon. You’ll likely find fireflies at Landview Lighthouse, during the event quest The Path to Enlightenment, but north of Red Rocket filling station and the dry lakebed between Lakeside cabins and Summersville are also good places to look.
The third objective requires taking a photo with your camera during stormy weather. Given how you can’t exactly control storms in Fallout 76, you’ll have to wait for one to start, get your camera out and snap a quick photo. Luckily, talent for photography isn’t required here.
The last step towards obtaining the Night Light involves building a light in a workshop or C.A.M.P. Given how Survival mode is where people go for PVP, this one might prove a bit tricky to do. The easiest way to go about it is to have your C.A.M.P already set up and simply crafting the light at one of the stations there. If that isn’t an option, look for a friendly player willing to share their workshop.
With the Night Light in your inventory, you’re looking at an energy weapon that deals increased damage during the night but less damage during the day while granting 25% faster fire rate and +1 Perception.
