For Honor, not unlike other multiplayer games, is best played alongside friends. Alongside coordinating attacks and defenses, you can also laugh, or rage, at each others' failure to read the enemy. Several users are, however, reporting that an older issue has begun popping up again. More specifically, they're complaining about For Honor invite friends not working.
Here's what we know about For Honor friend invites not working and whether or not it can be fixed.
For Honor Invite Friends Not Working
The issue surrounding For Honor invite friends not working was thought to have been dealt with a while ago. It's seemingly no longer the case, given recent reports.
As the name suggests, players are unable to use the invite system to play For Honor alongside their friends. Past suggestions involving checking NAT, going through the steps mentioned here or simply restarting the client had mixed results. While they're definitely worth giving a shot, chances are that the issue is caused by something on Ubisoft's side.
At the time of writing, there is no official fix for For Honor invite friends not working. Steam user Sailex Luftmensch seems to have found a workaround, however. They managed to invite their friends by creating an UPlay group and having their friends join it. Then, starting the game, bringing up the UPlay interface (default SHIFT+F2), right clicking on the group and inviting friends that way will lead to them receiving notifications and being able to join. Until Ubisoft push out an official fix, it's an option worth considering.
