For Honor is now entering its third year of continuous content updates, and Ubisoft have detailed their plans for how they intend to handle it all. Titled The Year of the Harbinger, it may well be the most impressive one yet.
For Honor Year of the Harbinger is promised to include four new Heroes, new levels, gameplay balance updates, and various seasonal events to tide us over from one content update to the other.
Particularly eager players will have the opportunity to purchase the For Honour Year 3 Pass, providing them with a seven-day early access to the new heroes as they come out, while others will have to purchase them for 15 000 Steel each.
The Year 3 Pass will also include five Scavenger Crates, 30 bonus days of Champion Status, and a special 'Thunderbolt and Frightening' effect for heroes to equip. Finally, For Honour Complete Edition is going to include the base game, all of Year 1 heroes, the Marching Fire expansion pack, and the Year 3 Pass, which may well make the perfect starting point for interested newcomers to the game.
For Honour Year Three is set to kick off on 31st of January, when we'll be getting the very first new Year Three Knight Hero, as well as a seasonal event, a map, and a major balance patch. Details for the rest of Year Three will be announced as we go along, though we do know that, following the Knight, the next hero will be a Samurai, followed by a Viking, and then Wu Lin.
