Greedfall, the latest RPG from the developer of The Technomancer, is here now - and like team Spiders is known for, it's a huge RPG with a lot to do in it. But does that include online play or co-op? Is there any sort of Greedfall multiplayer, or is it an entirely single-player experience?
Greedfall is certainly an epic RPG, but does it have any sort of co-operative play in offline split-screen or online, like with Divinity: Original Sin 2? Does it possibly even have competitive play? Or is there any way to get it, such as with mods? Let's have a look.
Is there any Greedfall multiplayer, online or offline?
Greedfall is a massive RPG with plenty of quests, enemies, and different paths to take, but we're sorry to tell you this - the one thing you can't do in Greedfall is play alongside your friends, or fight your enemies. There is not any sort of multiplayer in Greedfall - not co-op, not competitive, not even battle royale (we know, that's a surprise to us too).
Greedfall is an entirely single-player experience, which you can confirm by checking the game's Steam page - no online functionality of any kind is listed. For anyone who's been playing and enjoying Divinity: Original Sin 2, it's a bit of a disappointment.
But what about mods? There's already a big selection of Greedfall mods out there in the wild, but is there a Greedfall multiplayer mod yet? Sadly, modders haven't cracked that particular combination yet. Consequently, even with mods, there is no Greedfall multiplayer. Sorry!
