Lost Ark bombards you with lavish graphics and many buttons to click from its very first moments, making it easy to race past your initial opportunity to change mouse control settings.
This is a fairly important option, given Lost Ark’s combination of MMO and ARPG mechanics. Thankfully, you can change mouse control settings later, if you feel like something’s not quite right with the way in which your character moves or attacks.
Initially, Lost Ark lets you choose between attacking with your left mouse button and moving with the right one or vice versa, as well as three different keyboard layouts. It’s recommended that you examine these options a bit, since you may just find the one that works for you from the get-go.
If you skip past this screen, or feel like trying a different setting later on, you’ll need to go through the following steps.
- Press the Escape key
- Click on the settings button at the bottom of the newly-appeared menu
- Click on hotkeys to the left
- From the expanded drop-down menu, select basic controls
The fourth option reads “Attack with right-click” and determines whether or not you do so. Although you cannot change the individual mouse button binds above, checking or unchecking the box automatically switches them around.
In addition, from the Accessibility menu, you can also have the option of selecting your mouse cursor’s color and size. Several keyboard binds can also be changed.
