Resident Evil 2 Remake has been enjoying considerable critical success following its release. Our own review is rather glowing, too, and it's no wonder that fans are enjoying the game as well.
Accordingly, Capcom has prepared a live-action Resident Evil 2 trailer which serves as a homage to George Romero, the late master of zombie horror fiction. Short, but wonderfully campy, this trailer is sure to put a smile on faces of those who are in-the-know.
Resident Evil 2 Remake live-action trailer is fairly short and doesn't showcase much at all, but the way it's shot and directed serves as a direct reference to the 1996 release of the very first Resident Evil. In case you didn't know, Capcom got George Romero to direct the live-action trailer for Resident Evil!
A fair bit less gory, and a fair bit less cheesy, the new live-action trailer wears its inspiration on the sleeve all the same, and works well as a reminder that Capcom did, in fact, know what they were doing with the release of Resident Evil 2 Remake.
