Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2’s Anniversary Update (Patch 10) was an excellent celebration of the action game’s one-year anniversary, and now Focus and Saber have shared plans for Year 2 of paid and free content, signaling the sequel is here to stay. Space Marine 2 Patch 11.0 Release Date
Patch 11.0 for Space Marine 2 will release in late November 2025 across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
As confirmed by the ‘Year Two Battle Plan’ shared by publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Saber Interactive in late August, Patch 11 is currently targeting the last quarter of 2025. In late September, a new blog post gave us a more limited release window of late November.
On October 24, we got the patch notes for Patch 11’s PTS release, which opens from Oct. 24 to Nov. 4 ahead of the final release. As always, feel free to jump in to test the new content and changes coming to the game.
Space Marine 2 Patch 11.0 Content
As it stands, the full list of content coming with Patch 11.0 (or Update 11) isn’t fully nailed down, as Focus and Saber traditionally play things safe when it comes to commenting on upcoming content until the team has a very clear idea of what can be realistically delivered to players. The full October 24 PTS patch notes included the following new features/content:
- New off-planet PvE mission: Reclamation - Takes place in orbit above the planet Avarax. A squad of Space Marines is tasked with dealing a Tyranid infestation inside a damaged Imperial cruiser.
- New PvE mission pickup: Sanctified Wrath - It ups the player’s melee damage by 25% for 15 seconds, also making them immune to knockbacks and pushing nearby enemies back upon use.
- More than 40 new Battlefield Conditions
- New Heroic items - Unlockable via accolades: Heavy Bolt Pistol, Heavy Bolter, Instigator bolt Carbine, Bolt Sniper Rifle, Power Fist, Thunder Hammer, Mark VII Helm, Black Templars Crusader Helm, Veteran Molecular Bonding Studs R. Pauldron, Honourific Gem R. Pauldron, Cameleoline Shroud R. Pauldron, and Veteran’s Shroud R. Pauldron
- Chaos Customization (PvP) - Armor parts from sets available
- New Year Pass Content - Blood Angels Champion Pack w/ Signature Chainsword Skin plus Salamanders Cosmetic Pack
