Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2’s Anniversary Update (Patch 10) has been an excellent celebration of the action game’s one-year anniversary, and now Focus and Saber have shared plans for Year 2 of paid and free content, signaling the sequel is here to stay. Next up, we’re taking a look at what’s coming in Space Marine 2 Patch 11 when it hits in late 2025.
On September 11, a hotfix 10.1 update was released to deal with a few pesky bugs, rebalance some melee weapons in the PvE modes, and increase the rewards for daily Stratagems. The new post didn’t include any information about the next big patch that was confirmed to arrive at some point of Q4 2025 though.
If you’re looking for the rundown on everything coming to Space Marine 2’s Patch 11.0 and the next steps of its second year of free and paid content, scroll down the page. We’ve collected the latest info and tried to keep things as brief as possible.
Space Marine 2 Patch 11.0 Release Date
Patch 11.0 for Space Marine 2 will release in Q4 2025 across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
As confirmed by the ‘Year Two Battle Plan’ shared by publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Saber Interactive in late August, Patch 11 is currently targeting the last quarter of 2025. If we had to guess, the next community update will have more answers for us, as usual.
Space Marine 2 Patch 11.0 Content
As it stands, the full list of content coming with Patch 11.0 (or Update 11) isn’t fully nailed down, as Focus and Saber traditionally play things safe when it comes to commenting on upcoming content until the team has a very clear idea of what can be realistically delivered to players. The Year 2 roadmap gave us a quick rundown of what to expect though:
- New PvE mission.
- New mission pickups.
- Stratagems: New rewards & battlefield conditions.
- Blood Angels Champion Pack (paid content).
- Salamanders Cosmetic Pack (paid content).
While Update 11 will be smaller in size than most of the recent content drops (and we totally understand why), players can expect big additions to the PvE portion of the game. Stay tuned for the latest updates; we’ll be updating this section with new details as they arrive.
