Grand strategy game Stellaris shows no signs of stopping, despite soon entering its sixth year of life. With its Overlord expansion on the way, players will be treated to yet another significant content drop that changes how the game plays, which makes its release date something we’re all interested to learn more about.
Stellaris: Overlord release date will mark the moment when diplomacy between empires that are not equal gets some much-needed attention. The game’s vassalization mechanics is also slated to see big changes, while new buildings, five new origins, and more are also on the way.
Stellaris: Overlord’s release date will be accompanied by its Cepehus patch 3.4. Since the grand strategy game’s patches have shifted to a more predictable schedule, we initially estimated that both would launch in the second half of May or first half of June.
- Stellaris: Overlord release date: May 12
On April 21, Paradox Interactive confirmed that Stellaris: Overlord’s release date is locked to May 12, which is a bit earlier than our prediction.
Priced at $19.99/£15.49/€19.99 or your regional equivalent, the expansion also introduces four new music tracks which you can enjoy while conquering the galaxy. Here is the expansion’s list of features, as detailed by the publisher.
- Rulers Make the Rules: New vassalization mechanics let you define the role of your new subjects - create new Specialist Empires to grow into economic superpowers, military specialists, and technological creators.
