There are lots of collectibles to be found in Strange Brigade, the latest co-op shooter from Rebellion. The most rewarding, and so the most sneaky, are the Blue Cat Statues, which net you a Golden Cat Statue and a lot of riches. We're here to show you every one of the Strange Brigade Blue Cat Locations!
Strange Brigade - Where To Find All Blue Cats
CAT 1: Near the start, just after the bridge collapses. Head down the side path and it's just on the path's edge on the left.
CAT 2: At the first campsite and Health Potion, it's just on top of the archway, on the right.
CAT 3: After opening the gate and encountering the Giant Scorpions, you need to head up on a path to the left. Halfway up you'll hear the meow. Turn back the way you came and it's on the left, in some grass.
CAT 4: After the attack by the spear-throwing zombies, take the path right into some caves. There's a secret coded door here on the left, then head up to a bridge. As soon as you hit the bridge a cat will appear behind you, sitting on a box.
CAT 5: Beyond a lot of traps, there's another Scarab Key door and another secret code door. To the right of both of those is a small looped path with a camp in the middle. As you go down the loop on the left, the cat will appear overlooking the camp on its left hand side.
CAT 6: After the floor puzzle, the door opens to immediately reveal the Cat Door. Don't go too far though as the boss area is beyond, but as soon as you pass the Cat Door the final cat appears behind you. It's just on the left. Then go through and the Golden Cat is yours.
Strange Brigade - Hidden Valley Blue Cats
CAT 1: After passing the first bridge with the laser light, the cat will appear on a broken pillar in the area to the left.
CAT 2: After the area with a high and low path there's a small circular room with hanging cages. It appears on the window up and to the left.
CAT 3: A little later after reaching the next laser crystal (that you activated earlier) the cat appears just below it by a tree on a ledge. You can shoot it with the laser if you wish...
CAT 4: As you enter the area with a big pillar, with its time-sensitive switches, go left. The cat appears just behind you, on top of a smaller broken pillar, similar to the one Cat 1 appeared on.
CAT 5: Just before the wooden bridge with two wooden gates, and a lot of explosives on it, the cat appears in the swampy area on the right.
CAT 6: The cat appears just in front of the Golden Cat door, which is just beyond the stairs where all those enemies spawned, next to the Minotaur statue.
Strange Brigade - Tunnels of Wadjet Blue Cats
CAT 1: In the wooded cave area just after a big enemy encounter, it's on a shelf just before a coded door.
CAT 2: Literally just next to a checkpoint fireplace in a small cave. It'll spawn behind you when you pass it.
CAT 3: Tricky one this. Just next to another fireplace, in a tall room with a lot of trees in the ceiling - and that's where the cat will spawn, directly above you on a branch far in the ceiling. Move around until you spot it.
CAT 4: At another fireplace, just before a corridor with a lot of swinging blades. The cat will appear just as you're about to enter that corridor, in the corridor you just came from - in a basket.
CAT 5: At the end of the big laser room there's a huge statue of Seteki covering the door - the cat will appear on a snake on her right.
CAT 6: Literally on top of the Golden Cat Door. Subtle.
Strange Brigade - The Towering Temple Blue Cats
CAT 1: Getting trickier now. Near the beginning, and just before a wooden bridge. The cat will appear on the right, quite far in the distance on top of a bunch of curved trees.
CAT 2: You'll get to an area that overlooks what seems suspiciously to be a boss fight arena, with some zombies milling about on it. The cat appears to the very far right of this arena.
CAT 3: You'll reach a path by a waterfall that leads down into a cavern - the cat will spawn behind you, at the waterfall's start, sitting on a rock.
CAT 4: As you're about to leave the cavern and head across a stone bridge into the building with the boss arena you saw early, the cat will appear behind you on the rocks on the right.
CAT 5: Very soon after the last cat, head into the Stone Church and straight forward, to some steps by spike traps. Head up the stairs and turn around - the cat will appear in an alcove above you.
CAT 6: The Golden Cat door will be obvious, but the last cat less so. It's in the room to the right, high up on an alcove.
Strange Brigade - Cursed Village Blue Cats
CAT 1: Just after heading through an archway with heads hanging down from it, the cat will appear just behind you by the arch.
CAT 2: By the scarab key in a graveyard, there's a cart. The cat is in the back.
CAT 3: There's a wooden drawbridge that you cross over a stream. As you cross the bridge, the cat appears just below it by the water.
CAT 4: Tricky one in terms of describing - there's a nondescript house (just after a Relic room) with a path behind it that leads to a square walled area, with nothing of note in it apart from a tree just outside the wall in an area you can't enter. The cat appears on the tree.
CAT 5: Just beyond a fireplace checkpoint is a door flanked by two statues holding flaming bowls. Beyond this is a path that goes upwards. with wooden scaffolding above it. The cat appears in the scaffolding above as you pass under it.
CAT 6: You can't miss it - it's right next to the Golden Cat door, and you find that in a narrow cave passageway.
Strange Brigade - Cut-Throat Caverns Blue Cats
CAT 1: Right after the first battle with Tiberian, in the path beyond the ship, the cat appears just to the left on the cave wall.
CAT 2: After climbing up a path just after the teleporter, as the path turns the cat appears to the right - across the chasm, in the rocks on the other side. It stands out at least.
CAT 3: Just in the path beyond the area with the loot fake-out trap and the hidden switches, the cat appears in the wall directly behind you as the path turns.
CAT 4: A fairly easy one this. Just next to a checkpoint fireplace in a cavern full of stalactites, the cat will appear on a torch.
CAT 5: There's a bridge that you can see the Golden Cat door from, and you'll probably start to panic. Two more to get and the door's right there? Well, as you cross the bridge the fifth cat appears on a wooden structure behind you, on the other side. And yes, there's still one more!
CAT 6: This is the one that caught us out initially, as it's one of the few cats that appears in a secret area. Right after cat 5, and just before the Golden Cat door, there's a wooden door that can be opened by using the torch next to it. It's a secret maze! One of the best secret areas in the game actually! Slightly into the maze the cat will appear on a pillar. Don't worry if you miss it - once you've finished the maze you'll be able to see the whole maze, and shoot the cat in the top left corner. But then you have to go back through again in order to get the Golden Cat door. Remember?
Strange Brigade - Forsaken City Blue Cats
CAT 1: Don't know who placed these, but the Forsaken City cats are all very sneaky. The first appears in a market area as you pass a big statue and approach a staircase. It's behind you on the left, behind a railing.
CAT 2: The most obvious cat. After a Charge Crystal and a checkpoint, there's a long bridge with overhanging vines. Halfway down there's a pile of boxes, and the cat appears on it.
CAT 3: As you're about to enter what the narrator calls "the town's marketplace" the cat appears behind you, in a high-up window.
CAT 4: Beyond that, after a fight, there's an area with a stall on the corner with a large suspicious golden pot. The cat appears in the pot.
CAT 5: Not long after the last cat, there's an area with a puzzle, a glowing button in the floor, and a swinging blade trap area housing a scarab key. The cat appears in a basket to the right - you can just see its head.
CAT 6: Once you've solved this room, keep heading forward down the alleyway past a statue. The cat will appear behind you, in another basket. The Golden Cat door is just beyond this.
Strange Brigade - Great Pyramid Blue Cats
CAT 1: In the slightly wet area with a lot of pillars and zombies, the cat appears to the right by some goat statues.
CAT 2: Appearing right next to a fireplace checkpoint area, behind the radio, in plain sight.
CAT 3: We'll be amazed if you miss this one. On a small wooden walkway, the cat will appear on the corner pretty much right next to you.
CAT 4: After using the Scarab Key beyond the area with the laser-eyed statue, there's a small cavern with a climbing path on the left and walking path on the right. The cat appears at the top of the climbing bit.
CAT 5: Once you get to the top of the hill, above the giant laser-eyed statues, as soon as you reach the checkpoint fireplace the cat will appear on the statue's head. Just look over the side.
CAT 6: Just before the entrance to the Pyramid is the Golden Cat door - and the last cat in the game appears directly on top of it. Hooray!
