With Warhammer: Vermintide 2 now in its second year of existence, developer and publisher Fatshark isn't slowing down when it comes to releasing patches addressing the game's issues, the Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Patch 1.6.1.1 going live today.
Although belonging to the group of smaller patches the action title has received so far, Warhammer Vermintide 2 Patch 1.6.1.1 fixes two rather annoying issues surrounding crashes and lobbies.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Update Patch Notes - Patch 1.6.1.1
The Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Patch 1.6.1.1 notes are as follows:
- Fixed a crash that could occur when closing the game.
- Fixes an issue with some lobbies not showing up in the lobby browser.
While the title continues to be supported with patches like the recent Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Patch 1.6.1.1, Fatshark is also working on Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - Winds of Magic, the first fully-fledged expansion for their action title.
If Skaven and Chaos Warriors have become to much of a familiar sight, you'll be happy to hear that the expansion will introduce the Beastmen as a new opposing faction, while also aiming to further flesh out the title's endgame experience. Check out the expansion's Steam page.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - Winds of Magic follows two DLC packs released during the game's first year. The first one, Shadows Over Bögenhafen added a handful of gloomier maps, where Back to Ubersreik revisited a few maps from the original Vermintide.
