"several unannounced projects."
This revelation comes from recent postings at the studio, which includes taking on "temporary game testers" that have experience in MMOs and action titles. More Star Wars?
EA has secured the licensing for Star Wars with Disney giving them another decade to produce anything game related such as DICE's return of Battlefront.
"After the hugely successful addition of its Free 2 Play option and the highly praised launch of space PVP with the Galactic Starfighter expansion, the Austin team continues driving forward with SW:TOR and is also hard at work on several unannounced projects. Apply today and learn about the exciting opportunities at our Studio," blurbs the dev.
"BioWare is hiring temporary game testers. Our ideal candidates have played both online games such as MMORPGs (Star Wars the Old Republic, DC Universe Online) and action games (Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, Infamous).”
Were those action titles simply picked at random or is there some meaning behind them? BioWare overall has Dragon Age: Inquisition and the next Mass Effect in the works, but are said to be working on another Star Wars project outside of The Old Republic. Maybe if it's action focused we could see something from Jade Empire? Grasp those straws!
