Battlefleet Gothic: Armada Tau Empire DLC coming end of September, Beta Test begins tomorrow

Focus Home Interactive has revealed that the second piece of DLC for Battlefleet Gothic: Armada, the Tau Empire, will be released at the end of this month. There will be a beta starting tomorrow that lets all players try out the Tau side and give feedback ready for the launch.

The Tau Empire faction will be free to all Early Adopters of the game on Steam, which means the offer applies to all Steam pre-purchase owners, as well as those who bought the game during the first two months following the game's release (before June 21, 2016). If you picked up a copy after this date you'll have to pay £4.99 when it launches at the end of September.

Ready for some space marines? Tindalos Interactive, the team behind Battlefleet Gothic: Armada is introducing the Space Marines expansion, and we’ve got brand new screenshots for you to enjoy. These spaceships are bloody mental, featuring cathedrals and whatnot on top of real-life space vehicles. As you can probably tell from the screenshots, the images show off the Dark Angels and the Space Wolves.

The Space Marines expansion features five different Space Marine chapters, including the Dark Angels, the Space Wolves, the Imperial Fists, the Blood Angels and the Ultramarines. Yes, we realise all of those chapters would make great Metal band names.
