'Roguelike' is a word being used quite a bit these days, and now Crypt of the NecroDancer has come along to plant its flag in the genre. It's got generated dungeons, permadeath, stubbornly retro pixels, and dance moves.

Crypt of the Necrodancer has just received what developer Brace Yourself Games calls its “biggest update ever”, adding new boss battles and characters.
In fact, new boss Coral Riff (get it?) is actually pretty cool, an entire nautical ensemble complete with trumpets and drum kits that you'll have to defeat.
