He "can't be more serious" that this is no cruel joke - we really will get a date. Square Enix already said back at Christmas that they delayed it into next fiscal.
"Of course! The release date will be announced next week! What about that! ;)" twittered game director Jean-François Dugas at Eidos Montreal last week on Friday.
"I can't be more serious!" he added. Square announced back before Christmas that they had decided to "spend additional time to further polish" the new Deus Ex, "resulting in a shift in release timing from our prior plan of the current fiscal year to next fiscal year."
It was due to arrive around now sometime but at least we get to know how much longer we need to wait as Square and Eidos announce the official release date. Deus Ex: Human Revolution releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this year.
