Diablo III servers intermittently going down, and users finding their accounts compromised, some have accused Blizzard of their servers being hacked. Blizzard denies this flatly, stating that the small number of accounts being stolen are the results of "traditional" methods, such as session spoofing and keylogging.
In fact, the publisher states, it's "technically impossible" to hack the servers.
This is a continuation of a problematic Diablo III launch that Blizzard has promised that it was "working around the clock" to fix issues as they popped up. As it is, the publisher is dealing with, and have apologized for , which lock people out of their games.
As for, Blizzard urges gamers to purchase Authenticators to foil such hacker methods as keylogging.
However, all of these online issues have put the real-money Auction House on indefinite hiatus. The feature was supposed toon the 29th May.
