Those same in-game items can be bought using the in-game currency of Abstergo Credits. The Erudito option exists for those looking for a ”shortcut to unlock game items” regardless of level.
Earlier it was revealed through the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network that blocks of ‘Erudito Credits’ were being sold by Ubisoft for the latest Assassin’s Creed.
They can fetch a price as high as £13.60 or 1600 Microsoft Points for a block of 925 of the in-game coins. For those patient enough the in-game Abstergo Credits can be earned through multiplayer matches, which also earn experience to take players from level 1 to 50, unlocking items as they go.
”The Erudito Credits are a new way of unlocking content in Assassin’s Creed 3’s Multiplayer,” said Ubisoft.
”People who have little time can use Erudito Credits as a shortcut to unlock game items from level 1 to 50 (excluding Prestige levels and relics rewards). This is not mandatory, all items sold in Erudito Credits are also available in Abstergo Credits and can be unlocked through normal progression like previous years.”
Assassin’s Creed III releases on Xbox 360 and PS3 this week, and on PC November 20th in the US, 23rd in EU.
