Aside from being awesome animals on their own, cats have a penchant for surviving even all-out nuclear war. Fallout 76 is clear proof of that, as cats can be found throughout Appalachia. But why would you need one?
Fallout 76's world can be rough and taming a cat for your C.A.M.P. can give bases a homelier feeling. You'll find several locations containing cats, if you know where to look. One of them is the Wixon Homestead in the Forest Region, where you'll find a cat named Wixton.
Another location where you're guaranteed to find a cat in Fallout 76 is northeast of Welch Station. Aside from these two, there's a chance for cats to spawn in several other places.
It's worth checking northeast of Hunter's Ridge, on the dry lakebed between Lakeside Cabins and Summersville and northwest of the Overseer's camp.
Cats can also be found south of Hornwright summer villa and east of Torrance House, at a campsite southwest of Camp Adams lookout and at a billboard west of Beckwith farm.
Fallout 76 is currently available on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
