Despite its post-nuclear charm, Appalachia can sometimes be a rough place, with all its zombies, mutated creatures and unpleasant Deathclaws. Luckily, would-be adventurers can take a swig of booze, like Fallout 76’s Cranberry Moonshine, to make things a easier for themselves.
Here’s the Fallout 76 Cranberry Moonshine recipe alongside the in-game benefits and downsides of the consumable drink.
How to make Cranberry Moonshine?
Fallout 76’s Cranberry Moonshine is just one of several rare beverages added to the game in its recent Wild Appalachia update. They’re all part of the brewing and distilling feature which can be accessed after completing the Wasted on Nukashine quest.
In order to craft Cranberry Moonshine in Fallout 76, you’ll have to obtain 3 Boiled Water, 3 Cranberries, 3 Snaptail Reed and 3 Wood. Having them in your inventory and interacting with the Brewing Station will yield 1 Fermentable Cranberry Moonshine.
The Fermentable Cranberry Moonshine then requires aging, in order to be turned into a proper drink. This can be done via the newly-added Fermenter.
Drinking Fallout 76’s Cranberry Moonshine will grant you the usual 15% thirst reduction effect of any normal drink, alongside +1 Charisma, +1 Strength, -1 Intelligence and +25% Max HP for a limited time.
