Fallout 76 has got a downright staggering number of various perks and bonuses to select from - perhaps a good few more than was the case with previous Fallout titles. Some of them, like Starched Genes, are a particularly interesting bunch.
Fallout 76 Starched Genes is a perk that has slightly different effects than most, allowing for your character to be less responsive to various radiation-induced mutations that they might come across.
Starched Genes has got two ranks, first of which gives you less chance for you to mutate from rads or for Radaway to cure mutations so you know right away that this is going to be a bit of double-edged sword here. Starched Genes make it more difficult for you to mutate, yes, but on the off chance that you do, Radaway isn't going to be all that effective in removing the mutation, either.
The second rank is more reliable, however, since it makes it so that you will never mutate from Rads and Radaway will never cure mutations. Obviously, if you're looking to reduce randomised gameplay as far as possible, Starched Genes are something to be curious about.
Whether you want to get rid of mutations altogether is a wholly different matter, but on the off chance that you do - Starched Genes are your best bet as soon as you reach level 30.
