Stellaris: Federations, the grand strategy title’s upcoming diplomacy-focused expansion has fixed its release date, publisher Paradox Interactive announced.
Players will be able to try their hand at leading a galactic community on March 17, when Stellaris: Federations is set to launch on PC.
Stellaris: Federations Release Date
Stellaris: Federations will let players “build up the internal cohesion” of their Federations – which come in different flavors like Trade League, Martial Alliance, or Hegemony – and gain valuable rewards.
Banding up together is a clear focus of the expansion which also introduces the possibility of uniting all empires in a Galactic Community.
Members of the Galactic Community take part in collectively deciding how its development progresses while being able to sanction empires that stray from its galactic focus.
Empires also get Origins which not only flesh out their backgrounds and identities but also alter their starting conditions.
Whether it’s protecting a Tree of Life or starting on a homeworld that’s doomed to blow up when 64 in-game years pass, players will have a variety of Origins to choose from.
Stellaris: Federations was initially meant to release towards the end of 2019 but ended up being delayed as Paradox worked to ensure that it did “not compound any of the current issues with the game”.
You can pre-order Stellaris: Federations on Steam, Paradox Plaza, Gog.com and the Microsoft Store for the price of $19.99/€19.99/£15.49.
