Warframe's special Balor Fomorian event asks of you to farm Omega Isotopes, and truth be told, it's not exactly the simplest thing in the world. Here, you'll learn all you need to know about the Omega Isotope location and farming strategies in Warframe.
You can only ever farm Omega Isotopes if there's a Balor Fomorian Grineer combat vessel present on the Star Map. This is a special event that pops up when the Grineer charge their Invasion percentage by enlisting Tenno help in Invasion missions. You can expect it to come up every few months or so.
Where to find Omega Isotopes?
Omega Isotopes are a unique resource that's only ever made available when there's a Balor Fomorian mounting an assault on one of the many Tenno Relays in Warframe. First, locate the massive Fomorian vessel on the Star Map, and then check if there's a Fomorian Sabotage mission present on said planet. if there is, this is also the planet/biome where Isotopes will drop.
Being an uncommon resource drop, you can farm as many Omega Isotopes as you wish simply by killing enemies on the planet that the Balor Fomorian is orbiting. Any non-Archwing mission will do, and simply equip a farming Warframe such as Nekros to bolster your chances of Isotopes dropping. Missions with large numbers of enemies will work wonderfully in this regard, such as Survival and Dark Sector ones.
You then have to use the Omega Isotopes to craft Fomorian Disruptors, each of which will allow you a single shot at dealing damage to the Balor Fomorian. Keep in mind that, aside from Isotopes, you'll also need Credits, Nano Spores, and Cryotic, and the Disruptor blueprint is infinitely reusable.
If you're not keen on farming the Fomorian, perhaps our Nightwave guide will be a better fit. Perhaps you need to hunt down some Silver Grove Specters while you're at it? Game Watcher has got your back. Good luck!
