Yesterday, Bethesda Softworks was looking to hire experienced developers to help them work on "future generation" consoles. Now, a job listing by Lionhead Studios seems to indicate that the company is also seeking to work on a next-gen console.
The classified states that Lionhead "is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engine Programmer to be a key contributor on an unannounced title." The interesting part of the ad states that their "ideal candidate" will have "significant experience leading teams designing and implementing modern rendering engines (DX11)."
Using DX11 strikes the Xbox 360 as a platform, leaving only the PC - which is unlikely - and a "future generation" console as possibilities.
While Lionhead Studios has worked on PC games for a long while, almost all of their work for Microsoft has been developing Xbox 360 properties. Could Lionhead be revving up to develop a launch title for an unannounced Microsoft console?
