EA is gearing Battlefield 4 up for the Fall season and has announced they are rolling out two additions tomorrow. The first is the Community Operations DLC, featuring the Operation Outbreak map that was created with input from the Battlefield online community. The second is a huge update featuring a ton of improvements to the game.
The Operation Outbreak map comes out of the Community Map Project started with the full intention of giving creative input to Battlefield 4's devoted fans. The announcement for the finished project came alongside a cinematic trailer for the DLC. It might be cinematic, but for what it did show, the map looks enjoyable, featuring a jungle setting along a river, village, and military compound.
What will be changed in the fall update for the game has not been announced, though DICE LA producer David Sirland did make mention on his Twitter that the patch notes came out to a hefty 28 pages. Short of a complete overhaul, it would seem the update is set to improve upon the game in a big way.
