Like many other games, especially those with live service aspirations, Apex Legends features a progression system that reflects the time you’ve spent in the game through players’ account level. Not only is the account level a way of showing the number of times people have fought in the Apex Games, it’s also the way of obtaining various rewards for your Legends without having to pay with real money.
Here are the level up rewards in Apex Legends.
What Level Up Rewards Are There in Apex Legends
<p>
Levelling up in Apex Legends is done in a simple fashion: by simply playing the game. Entering and completing a match without disconnecting, regardless if you win or not, rewards a certain amount of XP determined by your performance. The criteria on which the XP rewarded at the end of the match is based on are as follows: time survived, kills, damage done, alongside ally revives and respawns. On top of those, killing the champion, kill leaders and playing with friends further add to the XP rewards received at the end of the match, bringing those level up rewards closer.
When you reach certain XP thresholds, shown on the match summary screen, your account gains a level and you obtain level up rewards. Currently, level up rewards can include Legend Tokens, Apex Packs or both. Legend Tokens are a currency used to unlock new Legends. Apex Packs are Apex Legends’ loot box equivalent, which reward a selection of three random cosmetic items, or currency used in crafting cosmetics.
It’s worth noting that Apex Legends currently has a level cap of 100, which means there’s a limited amount of level up rewards that players can get their hands on. Legend Tokens continue being rewarded after level 100, upon reaching certain XP thresholds. However, there currently is no way of obtaining Apex Packs after reaching the level cap, aside from purchasing them with real money.
