Creative Assembly is celebrating fifteen years of Total War this weekend, offering a free weekend of play for every single one of its historical war games. That's a whole lot of cavalry charges and ill-advised flanking manoeuvres.

You can even head back to the roots of the franchise with Shogun: Total War and Medieval: Total War, available for the first time in high-def resolution.

The Last Roman Campaign Pack out June 25th for Total War: ATTILA, "reclaim Rome’s lost territories"

Creative Assembly are releasing The Last Roman Campaign Pack this week for Total War: ATTILA. It adds a "vast and highly-detailed" campaign map of Western Europe in 533AD with 35 provinces over a hundred regions.

There will be five playable factions alongside the main Roman Expedition, which is a "narrative, mission-based experience". We might fight in Emperor Justinian's name, or perhaps reform Rome for ourselves.
